Threnody, pen and ink, 1994

Another SF illustration from 20 years ago, for short story Threnody by Trent Jamieson, published in Eidolon. I recall it had something to do with a relationship between two women in a post-apocalyptic world. Sometimes small details in a picture are enough to suggest a story, such as a car key chain with a forgotten symbol, worn as jewellery.
