Not really, although it relates to a scene in Rules of Summer featuring a parade of mechanical animals. It's quite interesting by itself though as having some implied tale, maybe concerning a domestic nuisance?
Hi, Shaun, I really like the concept! I am a huge fan of your creations and as a draughtsman I am always inspired. As a teacher at an International School I have just ordered 10 copies of The Arrival to help students learn about human migration. Best Regards, Stephen
Have been waiting for more of these wonderful "character" drawings. They're always stunning -- beautiful things. All of these characters would make for really terrific small models ... am not skilled enough to make them, but would love to hold one in my hand ... a new line of toys/models, perhaps?
Also was looking through The Arrival and the city you built. You should totally design some kind of public park/art space/playground with a similar aesthetic. I'd never leave ...
really cool... is this an idea for a new tale? ew
